I am Rev. Craig S. Kirby-Grove, a Disciple of Christ ordained minister since 1987 but am a third-generation member of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). I attended Wheeling Park High School in Wheeling, WV and graduated in 1979. I then attended Purdue University but transferred after 3 semesters to Bethany College, in Bethany, WV and graduated with a BA in Religious Studies and a Minor in Philosophy in 1984. I moved to Southern California and attended the Claremont School of Theology, in Claremont, CA (an eastern suburb of Los Angeles). I graduated with my Master of Divinity (MDiv) in 1988.

I have served congregations from North Caroline to Pennsylvania, West Virginia to Illinois, from Virginia to Missouri. I trained for Intentional Interim Ministry in 2020-21 and have served three congregation, one in Kansas and two in Missouri before coming on as the Intentional Interim at St. Charles Christian Church.

I married the former Catherine Kirby, and we have three children, Nicole, Allison, and
Samuel. We live in St. Louis County.
